Robert is head of thematic research and Energy Aspects, focusing on broader trends in global energy markets. Previously, he headed up energy transition research and started Energy Aspects' oil products research service. Robert has over 25 years of experience in energy markets, ranging from upstream oil, OPEC, refining and refined products, biofuels and long-term energy trends. In his current role, Robert advises investors on energy market trends and developments ranging from short-term market evolution to medium-term trends in policy and fundamentals. Prior to joining Energy Aspects in 2013, Robert was a journalist and energy markets columnist with Reuters, reporting from Latin America, the Middle East and the US.
