The company’s operational footprint aligns with Venezuela's near-term production ambitions, with the country targeting growth from approximately 1.2 million barrels per day (bpd) toward 1.5 million bpd by 2027. Artificial lift is among the most critical categories of upstream technology globally, required by more than 90% of operating oil wells to keep producing.

Baker Hughes operates more than 47,000 electrical submersible pumps (ESPs) worldwide and has led the artificial lift sector for decades.
